Voodoo Experience Celebrates 20 Years This Halloween

Published

on

The annual New Orleans Halloween based festival, Voodoo Experience, comes back for its 20th Edition this October 26-28, 2018 brought to you by C3 Concerts

There’s only a handful of festivals that can rep that 20 year badge, and in this current age of the post-EDM bubble concurring festivals altogether are becoming fewer and fewer. Voodoo Experience has rightfully earned their spot in the festival circuit, and still emerges as a leader in wholesome festival experience in the ever changing and demanding large scale event industry.

Perhaps the versatility is what makes Voodoo Experience so special, as it flaunts music, food, and art. Maybe it’s the combination of the New Orleans mysticism and Halloween allure that gives Voodoo Experience the edge. The location and timing is unmatched, as you simply cannot replicate such magical vibes with this intriguing combo. Whatever it is, Voodoo Experience 2018 looks to be another edition you will not want to miss.

This year totes a collective lineup that just about anyone can get down to. Have a friend who’s down to relax and get lost in some indie folk rock? Mumford and Sons can take you away. EDM fan at heart? Grammy nominated duo Odesza, some experimental bass from Troyboi, or HyperHouse founder Anna Lunoe can satisfy your specific taste for whatever genre you prefer. Hell, even call your goth crew from middle school and get ready to get weird with a performance by Marilyn Manson! This eclectic lineup can bring together crews from far and near, the only possible concern could be scheduling your weekend to coincide with your exact mood and needs.

Festival-goers should also heavily consider coming to New Orleans a day early and partaking in the Feast Under The Stars event. Voodoo Experience is offering some classy wining and dining for all you foodies out there, or people just looking to further embed themselves into that ornate Creole culture. Award-winning chef Aaron Sanchez will be curating a five-course dinner with wine pairing included. Once your inside the grounds of City Park don’t make waste of the various activities and interactive art. Pose with your squad in front of the ghoulish Cemetery installation before you go check out the Market Place and get the latest in hand crafted festival gear.
