Coyo Taco

Address: 2300 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127

The closer to the southern border we go, the more we want to sample some of the best Mexican food this side of the border. Enter COYO Taco, a trendy and laidback taqueria serving authentic Mexican fare with a modern twist. COYO’s flagship restaurant-venue is located in the heart of Miami’s Wynwood Arts District, so you can be sure to make a day of it as you take in the sights and sounds of the bustling arts neighborhood. Open for lunch, dinner, and late night service (for when you get the munchies after all those late night music events), Coyo Taco is the place to eat during Miami Music Week 2020.

Planta South Beach

Address: 850 Commerce St, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Hey Vegan fam, we see you! No need to spend hours scouring the internet trying to figure out where to find delicious vegan eats on your trip to Miami – Planta South Beach has you covered. 100% plant-based, Planta South Beach has come up with several creative takes on typically non-vegan foods like burgers, pizza, dumplings, and ceviche. The restaurant even boasts a full sushi bar in which various fruits and vegetables (like watermelon, mushroom, and hearts of palm) are seamlessly crafted into tasty bites that mirror the taste and texture of fish. Even your carnivorous friends will be begging you to come back for round two!

Luna Park

Address: 601 South Miami Ave, Miami FL 33131

Located in Miami’s hot Brickell district, Luna Park is a newly debuted, upscale food hall perfect for Italian food lovers of all kinds. In Italy, a “Luna Park” is a type of carnival or amusement park, and we couldn’t think of a more apt description for this unique venue. With three floors of casual and upscale dining, everyone is sure to find something to satisfy their tastebuds. Highlights include Macellaio RC – an Italian butchery serving certified Piedmontese beef, N.0 Osteria – which features some of the best cuisine of Southern Italy – and Puro’s, an entirely gluten-free and vegetarian restaurant. Luna Park even offers Italian cooking classes, which makes it a great place to both eat and play.

Upland

Address: 49 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Given The Nocturnal Times’ New York roots, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention Upland, a new celebrity-helmed NY spin-off restaurant offering some of the best NYC eats in Miami. Don’t forget to try their signature New York pizza slice, as well as fan-favorite cacio e pepe.

Komodo
