Gryffin & Alesso Break Ground in Brooklyn with B2B Debut

New York City’s Brooklyn Army Terminal was transformed into a euphoric epicenter of electronic dance music as history was made with a spectacular, never seen before B2B set. For the first time ever, Gryffin and Alesso performed their multitude of hits together on stage, as one of the most anticipated collaborations in a long time. Drawing fans from all over – to one of Brooklyn’s hottest outdoor venues, the moment this set was announced, EDM enthusiasts new they needed to be in the crowd to witness the blending of two premier musical talents.

The Brooklyn Army Terminal’s sprawling layout and central downtown location made it ideal for a 10,000-capacity event complete with festival stage, offering ample space for fans, expansive dance floors, and incredible production elements. The venue continues to allow for state-of-the-art lighting, pyro, laser shows, and visuals that transformed the space into a summer show hotspot. 

Precisely at 5:20 pm the joint stylings of Gryffin and Alesso crossed lyrics, melodies and genres, showcasing an hour filled with both of their respective productions. Standout moments by way of mashups came with the energy and sing-alongs. Opening with Gryffin’s “All You Need To Know” vs Alesso’s “Sad Song” set the tone and the mixes kept coming. Perfectly aligned and sync’d up, more stellar Gryffin vs Alesso mashups included – “Tie Me Down” vs “Years,” “Just For A Moment” vs “City Of Dreams,” while remixes of Gryffin’s “Need Your Love,” “Best Is Yet To Come” vs SHM “One” also soundtracked the power hour. 

A ground-breaking b2b set that will make its way to the west coast on October 23rd in Los Angeles will surely garner the same hype.
