Cinematic Techno Duo Schrotthagen Single & Video for “Una Noche”

Since 2023, Munich, Germany’s Schrotthagen, the dynamic techno duo consisting of Giovanni Berg (30, award-winning composer) and Dieter Schleip (64, multi-award-winning composer and Grimme Prize recipient), has been transforming the electronic music landscape. With their new single “Una Noche”, Schrotthagen deliver a track that perfectly captures the essence of their sound: driving club energy, cinematic atmosphere, and vocals that tell more than they explain.

Another chapter in their cinematic universe, the track sets the stage for NEUE WELT their upcoming new album set for release November 27. Raw analog techno meets Spanish vocals and ’90s rave energy. “Una Noche” combines driving basslines and crisp rhythms with a passionate vocal hook about an unforgettable night in the moonlight and letting go of the past made for sweaty, peak-time club moments.

The accompanying music video takes Schrotthagen’s cinematic approach into darker, more experimental territory. Moving between stark, desolate landscapes, saturated red interiors and fragmented, intimate imagery, the film creates a world that feels at once physical and dreamlike. Its shifting visual language moves between isolation and intensity, bringing a sense of unease and ambiguity to a track built around the memory of an unforgettable night. Rather than simply illustrating the music, the video opens another dimension of the duo’s storytelling, reflecting their shared background in film composition and fascination with the space between sound and image.
