San Hejmo Returns in 2023 with Two Days of Camping

After a successful first edition, San Hejmo will return next year even more spectacular. After some rousing live performances by Marteria, Zoe Wees, Felix Jaehn and other top acts inspired as well as the works of art international street artists and the lovingly designed adventure area. Tens of thousands also followed the Twitch Idol festival live stream Knossi. What that being said, it is amazing to see this amazing festival return with an upgrade. From August 18th to 20th, 2023, San Hejmo returns as a weekend festival with two days of shows and camping.

San Hejmo exceeded all expectations with its premiere. The new Multi-genre show concept took place this year as a day festival at the former military airport in Weeze (same location as PAROOKAVILLE). The special mix of musical, cultural and artistically inspirational influences is in this shape unique. The unmistakable backdrop of former bunkers and Hangars harmonized perfectly with the street art and the numerous installations.

“San Hejmo” is based on the planned language Esperanto and translated means something like that like “holy home.” The 20,000 experienced this incomparable feeling Visitors while enjoying a peaceful and exuberant festival day in spent in a unique festival setting. The musical climax of the Headlining rapper Marteria, who joined the fans, set the premiere celebrated a sensational demolition concert on the 65 meter wide main stage.

The bunkers and hangars housed the PAROOKAVILLE Club, among others Circus Stage with top acts like Felix Jaehn and Topic, during the Party Stage catapulted visitors straight back to the 90s and reactivated all Eurodance hits.

From the Fanblast Village and from the entire festival, Jens “Knossi” Knossalla and his prominent guests live on Twitch for an incredible eleven hours streamed and reached tens of thousands of viewers at home.

Unmistakable for the eye made San Hejmo the numerous Art installations in the Urban Art District. From spectacular sculptures over imposing wall paintings, to murals and graffiti up to a huge, walk-in knit installation, San Hejmo offered festival visitors an unforgettable experience outdoor gallery.

For the hungry and exhausted ones there was handpicked street food, numerous chill-out areas, rides and modules rounded off this grandiose festival day.

San Hejmo is extended to two days including camping

After the all-around successful first edition, the organizers are also looking to secure San Hejmo already for next year: the festival will take place from August 18th to 20th, 2023 and will be extended to two full festival days including camping.
