On Saturday, September 29, 2018 the Global Citizen Festival takes action in New York City’s Central Park, with a star studded talent roster. Just announced, Global Citizen will organize a grand event in the heart of NYC which promotes activism and change around the world.
Next month marks the annual return of Global Citizen, the renowned music festival which takes on extreme poverty and aims to change the world for the better. A movement focusing on the collective voice of a generation, the organization has unveiled its unparalleled one day lineup.
Global Citizen will bring performances from The Weeknd, Janet Jackson, Cardi B, Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monáe and special guest John Legend. The free festival will be hosted by Deborra-Lee Furness and Hugh Jackman on Central Park’s Great Lawn.
