Following their performance at The Bowery Electric in New York City, electronic artists Chris Varvaro and Davis Mallory have revealed their newest team up in “Meant That.”

An easy-going tune at heart, “Meant That” carries all the sort of whimsical feelings and creative rhythms that when combined, unite into one piece of soulful melody and smooth arrangement. The track paints an imaginative picture in the listener’s minds about love and romance, and the musical synergy projected by both producers here melts together perfectly. Driving beats in “Meant That” fuse together alongside soft piano and all-too relatable lyrics, as the narrative takes center stage of the record.

“I think I speak for both of us when I say “Meant That” is a very special song. I remember this summer I was in the studio and I got a text from Davis with just the vocals.  I was blown away by the story and I immediately heard the song start to unfold in my head. I was in a relationship at the time of writing this and I was really happy, so I wrote with a lot of the emotions and romantic energy I was feeling with that person to get the mood just right. This song means a lot to me and serves a universal message about love, falling hard, and being hopeful – something Davis and I are both all too familiar with! We hope our message will resonate with our listeners on a deep level and make an impact on their lives.” – Chris Varvaro.

On one side of the collaboration, Davis Mallory’s discography extends to mega labels like Armada, EDX’s Sirup, Cedric Gervais’ Delecta, Ego Italy, Going Deeper’s Snippet Recordings, and numerous others. On the flipside, New Jersey DJ/Producer Chris Varvaro continues to cross into NYC with various gigs at Bowery Electric and Mercury Lounge, and holds TwoFriends, YoungBombs, Owen Norton, Jenaux, Rico & Miella, and TELYkast among his list of supporters.
