Lightning In A Bottle Reveals Four Complete Stages

Published

on

Renowned as a transformative experience by diverging from the typical festival scene, Lightning In A Bottle (LIB) has finally unveiled its full hand of cards, announcing the addition of four immersive stage experiences.

Each possessing its own special and unique artist lineup for festival goers to explore, LIB stages: The Stacks, The Compass, CTRL-Z, and The Grand Antique will cater a broad spectrum of music genres, ranging from set ups perfect for bass enthusiasts, late night partying to underground house and techno, while still being able to witness artistry in a theatrical and abstract perspective with far-reaching otherworldly compositions.

Making its initial debut at LIB 2019, The Stacks rattled the bass-loving community, harmoniously combining stellar visuals and stage design with phenomenal music. The stage affirms its dedication to up and coming raw-experimental bass musicians, with a pleasant mix of veterans already in the scene, while this year’s lineup made sure to fill in gaps, possessing everything from drum & bass, psytrance, and of course bass music on the 2020 line up.

CTRL-Z is what used to be the Favela Stage, and has been rebranded into a cosmic sanctuary and an intergalactic playground, perfect for getting funky and weird in the afterhours to techno and tech house. The stage is geared to act as the perfect homebase for both daytime enthusiasts and nightowls, as the CTRL-Z stage and structures are constructed and built from recycled space junk, giving festival goers endless intricacies and nooks to explore.

Those who are seeking mental growth and expansion should attend The Compass. Known for its educational programs throughout the day, The Compass stage transforms itself into an eclectic musical safe haven, showcasing a diverse range of genre-bending international artists. The music will ebb and flow between hip-hop, deep house, downtempo and more, while the educational daytime experiences that take place at The Compass are known to be tantalizing and geared in expanding ones mind.

Lastly, The Grand Artique is a hidden vintage portal within Lighting in a Bottle that transports festival goers into Frontierville. Filled with wild west familiarities such as a swinging saloon, a general store, and more, The Grand Artique will play host to a unique programming that lasts long into the early hours of dawn. Attendees can go on a global voyage through music and dance from a broad range of emerging artists in the underground music genre space.

The festival is excited to bring transformation to this year’s attendees, returning home to the beautiful Buena Vista Lake in Southern California. Set to take place on its traditional Memorial Weekdate date, May 20th-25th, 2020, festival goers can expect an abundance of grassy plains filled with shady trees, beautifully thought-out aesthetically pleasing stage designs accompanied by forward thinking musical curation, immersive art installations, and educational programs that dig far beneath the surface of many life moving concepts.

Did we mention you can also safely swim freely in the lake?
