Arriving with his fourth single of 2019, DJ/Producer Chris Varvaro is punching a hole through the sky with his latest “Let Me Go” record, showcasing his innate ability to become a musical chameleon and create swirling surprises time and time again.
Building up with serene energy, Desanka’s vocals add an extra pinch of glistening sonic buzz, as Varvaro drops the track into pure momentum and sends a rush through the senses. In its entirety, the song is fueled by luminous collaborative strengths as both artists come together for a finely polished, upbeat, and powerful tune that can strike a chord through any festival stage or nightclub scene.
“The process for Let Me Go was really interesting for me. I had just gotten home from college for the summer and I was revisiting my Progressive House roots. I was listening to guys like Matisse & Sadko, Audien, Manse, and a few others really searching for some inspiration. I was messing around on the piano in the studio and was playing with some arrangement ideas in Ableton. Funny enough, by mistake, I had actually come up with the main melody of the track. I slowly added different synths and it just naturally came together. I think I had the entire instrumental done in one studio session.” – Chris Varvaro
Originally from Northern California, Desanka’s musical roots reach extensive creative depths including musical theater, choir, and Shakespeare. After moving to Los Angeles to attend the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts to study opera, she began to work in film as an actress. After high school, she attended Pepperdine University as a Vocal Performance Major, transitioning to Berklee College of Music as a Music Business Major, and is now working towards her Master’s Degree in Music Business, while pursuing her dreams as an actress and a recording artist.
