The Knocks Brighten Things Up with New Single “Colors”
Published

New York City-born electronic duo The Knocks are at it again, this time with the release of their fresh track “Colors.” Out now via Big Beat Records, their newest single incorporates the perfect upbeat melody to brighten up the rest of our Summer before Fall slowly begins to creep up on us.
“Colors” exploits The Knocks’ musical talents exquisitely, blending in every piece of their signature sound in the most innovative matter. Its house-heavy rhythm mixed in with its delicate and groovy synths allow for that inspiriting feeling we just can’t get enough of and is surely a sound we can listen to year-round. Blurring multiple genres into one in true The Knocks style, the duo proves to us once again why they are one of the most influential artists in the game.
With good reason, their most recent LP New York Narcotic caught the attention of many electronic music lovers worldwide and exposed their unique sound substantially. Every tune within the album showcased just how eclectic The Knocks’ signature sound truly is, crossing barriers that intertwine electronic, pop, and alternative sounds like no other artist has done so before. “Colors” is the ideal runner-up track release to such a phenomenal LP, so get ready to groove along to its heartening tune and accompanying subtle lyrics. Oh, and make sure to keep an eye out for some more upcoming bangers, as the duo seems to be on a roll this Summer!
