Helsloot Shifts into Gear for Festival Season with the Release of “FF”

Known for a melodic, futuristic and hip hop influenced take on techno and disco, Helsloot has spent the past few years carving out one of the most distinctive voices in electronic music. His breakout collaboration “Because You Move Me” with Tinlicker surpassed one billion streams and introduced his emotive songwriting to a global audience. Since then he has released music on labels including Get Physical, Anjunadeep, Domino and This Never Happened, each project reinforcing his signature blend of heartfelt melody and forward thinking club sound.

“FF is short for Fast Forward. I made this track with a fast car ride in mind. To me, it feels like you’re literally shifting up a gear. The first draft of the track was actually called ‘Linkerbaan’ (Dutch for ‘Left Lane’) because that’s the fastest lane on the highway in the Netherlands.” – Helsloot

In 2024, Helsloot released his debut album “Never Tried”, featuring standout tracks “Take Care” and “Let’s Pretend” and revealing a deeper, more personal side of his artistry. He followed it with “Body Language Vol. 27” for Get Physical, adding his own interpretation to the label’s iconic series and delivering a striking rework of the classic “Body Language”. With “FF”, Helsloot channels that same emotional depth into a track built for the club, fusing hypnotic rhythm with his unmistakable melodic sensibility on CORE Records.

The release lands as Helsloot heads into the biggest touring year of his career. In 2026 he joins Tinlicker on their European tour, launches his first North American solo tour and makes his debut in Australia. He will also perform for the first time at Awakenings, marking another milestone in his rapid rise. Helsloot brings that momentum to Tomorrowland, where he takes the stage on Sunday July 19 for his festival debut.
