UZ & HUCCI Release Anticipated Collaboration “Awakening”

UZ and HUCCI are jumping into the weekend with an exhilarating new collaboration “Awakening” officially unleashed via Quality Goods. There has been much anticipation leading up to this track, with it being teased around by UZ back in January. Since then, fans have been dying for this team up to come out and their wish has finally been granted.

“Awakening” demonstrates complete fluidity and melancholy from the start of the track between its held chords and downtempo beats. In every essence of the music, it displays characteristics of both UZ and HUCCI that make their sounds unique sub-genres of trap music. Slowly, the intensity and tension begin to rise just before plucking synths takeover with crispy hi-hats. The sub-bass eventually goes in full force beside the stabbing vocal samples before dissolving back into a hard-hitting stream of beats.

With boss man, UZ, continuously defining his own sound in electronic music, he has simultaneously released tracks on some of the most prestigious labels in the world. He continues to make his mark with his global tour schedule and persistance across the scene.

The young but striking, HUCCI, from New Zealand had his big debut at just 16-years-old with his Novacane EP before going on to release his Rose Gold album as well as his signature track, “404” to further solidify his fusion-filled sound.
