Tails has come in strong with hit after hit in his latest Photos of the Sun EP out now on bitbird. He supplies the dance music world with six luscious tracks.

The EP kicks off with a captivating build on the titular track which drops into driving bass notes and crisp sounds. “golden youth” follows and it shimmers with Tails’ signature flair and syncopated trap rhythms. The next four in order “tic tac toe (ft. laye & Kelland),” “last night (eclipse) [ft. AYA YVES],” “second thoughts (ft. Monsoonsiren),” and the focus track “wander (ft. Iris Penning)” showcase the well-planned collaborators who added a variety of vocal textures, meaningful lyrics, and more. While each artist wrote their own lyrics, Tails was inspired by them all.

“The EP is a reflection of experiences that have weighed heavily on me over the past two years…I struggled with personal demons, started and stopped touring, lost friends, made new ones, and worked countless hours. I’ve made memories that I’ll hold dear for the rest of my life, as well as some I’ll work to forget for just as long…With the completion of ‘Photos of the Sun’ it feels like the floodgates are opened and a huge weight has been lifted.” -Tails
