Multi-talented NYC-based twin DJ/Production duo Castor & Pollux best known for their uplifting big room style have returned with their latest single “Infected” along with the talented DMTR. The infectiously catchy collaboration made its debut this Monday, April 27 on Harmor Records.

Before it was released as a single, “Infected” was released as a Beatport Exclusive after first appearing on Harmor Records’ ‘Harmor Festival, Volume 6’ compilation. “Infected” currently holds the #27 spot on the platform’s Best New Big Room April Chart, a huge accomplishment for the budding acts. The track also earned a feature on Beatport’s Big Room Staff Picks.

“Both of our powerful styles provided a dynamic match that we made into an uplifting big room banger with ‘Infected.’ It was also a pleasure to work with such a talented young producer like DMTR and we really meshed well together on bringing ideas to the track that made it come to life. We’re really excited to be a part of the Harmor Records family for the first time and we thank Harmor Records for believing in this track to the fullest.” – Castor & Pollux

Though it may be a while before you’ll hear this one at a nightclub or music festival due to our world’s current climate, there’s certainly no denying that “Infected” will undoubtedly make its way onto your quarantine playlists. This track blends both big room and psytrance in a very interesting manner by alternating between double and single time and also featuring zippy lead synths with a rolling and multi-textured bassline.
