Ørjan Nilsen Releases New Trance Remix of Mark Sixma and Morgan Page’s “Our Song”

Ørjan Nilsen brings the heat with his fiery new trance remix of Mark Sixma and Morgan Page‘s “Our Song.” While the song was created with the huge summer music festival scene in mind (which will happen, fingers crossed, next year) we think the remix is equally impacting from the comfort of your living room. Or from your beachfront deck with a drink in your hand.
Driven by dynamic percussion and roiling synths that tease the audience before leading to an epic drop, the remix is Ørjan Nilsen at his finest, evoking the artists’ quintessential stadium-pounding, hand-raising anthemic sound.
Discussing his trance take on “Our Song,” Nilsen says “I’ve always been a huge fan of Morgan and Mark’s work and when I saw they had a collaboration, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to put my touch on it. Both the melody and the vocal set me in the mood for summer and I really wanted to have an anthem version of it even though we don’t really have festivals right now. I guess it’s the one way of bringing myself closer to that festival-vibe feeling during these challenging times. I loved the result, I made it a bit more trancy and I hope people will love it as much as I do.”
Given that we’re all feeling a bit nostalgic for summer festival season, it only seems fitting that we’ll have Ørjan Nilsen’s “Our Song” remix on repeat.
