Tomorrowland Going Thailand?

Published

on

After hosting editions in America and Brasil with a winter edition in France and other aspects of the brand in Dubai, Tulum (CORE) and more, Tomorrowland has solidified itself as a true worldwide brand. Not stopping there, the festival is now looking to branch out even further, with active talks in place to explore an edition in Thailand.

Citing Thai government spokesman Chai Wacharonke, numerous media outlets have reported that the organizers of the iconic, Belgium-based EDM festival have confirmed a new event in Thailand in 2026. However, while Tomorrowland’s proprietors are currently exploring an expansion into the country, they’re in the due diligence phase and have not yet solidified plans for a new festival.

“Currently, Tomorrowland is assessing the feasibility of the project and has entered into an exclusive MOU agreement with a private sector partner in Thailand to conduct a joint study. At this stage, there is no confirmation regarding an actual festival, as the feasibility study will clarify, but Tomorrowland is deeply honored by the enthusiasm of the authorities to welcome the festival.” – Debby Wilmsen (Tomorrowland spokesperson)

Wacharonke also said Tomorrowland’s unconfirmed inaugural festival in Thailand is the first of 10 consecutive editions, per The Japan Times. That claim is also unfounded at the time of this writing. With the Thai authorities already seeming keen to explore this, its looking like great news for partygoers in the country, and we can hope for the best. For now, be sure to stay tuned to our website and the official Tomorrowland website here for updated news as it happens.
