Ultra Worldwide‘s internationally renowned RESISTANCE brand has been taking over the world by storm since its inception a few years back. The esteemed brand has gained even more recognition throughout the past couple of years in parallel with the tremendous boom of the house and techno scene across the industry. Following years of continuous success, RESISTANCE is ready to kick off 2023 with one of its most monumental announcements to date.
After three phenomenal years of back-to-back residencies in Ibiza, Ultra Worldwide has finally announced the launch of RESISTANCE’s first-ever U.S. club residency in the acclaimed music festival’s home base in the heart of Miami. The highly-anticipated elite residency will be taking over Miami Beach’s newest avant-garde clubbing destination, M2. Previously home to Mansion nightclub before its late 2015 closing, the historic venue has since gone through a massive multi-million dollar renovation. In just a few short weeks, M2 will be sure to transport attendees into pure RESISTANCE heaven across its two enthralling dance floors.
RESISTANCE’s M2 club residency is scheduled to ignite during Miami Music Week on Thursday, March 23 with Adam Beyer’s exemplary Drumcode imprint takeover. Then on Friday, March 24, techno legends Sasha & John Digweed will be taking over the decks all night long to keep the weekly festivities’ momentum going. With another immaculate underground soirée scheduled for Saturday and the Official MMW Closing Party on Sunday, we couldn’t think of a better way to commence the start of festival season.
“This is the first time RESISTANCE hosts a club residency outside of Ibiza, and we’ve chosen our hometown and the iconic M2 venue as its location. The RESISTANCE Ibiza club residency at Privilege is legendary on the island, and now we’re bringing the magic of that immersive underground clubbing experience home, to showcase in Miami.”– Russell Faibisch , Ultra Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO
Following all MMW productions, RESISTANCE will be hosting several Race Week events at M2 in early May, following a consistent Season 1 programming schedule with weekly Saturday evening parties beginning in late October. Miami couldn’t be a more perfect home for RESISTANCE’s forthcoming thrilling venture. Is it March yet?
