Officially out today on Ultra Music, Kayzo unleashed what is arguably the coolest collaboration thus far of 2019 – “Up In Flames” with none other than rockstar Alex Gaskarth from All Time Low.
Kayzo is one of many electronic enthusiasts who grew up on the punk-rock and alternative scene, engrossed by music from bands like All Time Low, blink-182, and A Day To Remember among countless more. Kayzo undoubtedly takes the top spot in fusing together the alternative and electronic spheres, spearheading another limitless avenue for dance music that sends chills down your spine just to think about. Whether on stage or in the studio, Kayzo pours his soul into these unmistakable productions and is a pure embodiment of his everlasting musical vision.
“The song itself and the production behind it I think has become my best example to date of the blurred line of rock and electronic music that I am continuously working to create. ‘Up In Flames’ is important because it embodies the high and low of love and friendship. We all have good times with those we love and the memories we keep can make letting go hard whether it’s a friend or a loved one, but at the end of the day all good things must come to an end, it’s about the journey and what is made between the start and finish line.” – KAYZO
During his closing set at Coachella’s Sahara Tent, crowd mayhem could not be tamed as explosive energy came across the atmosphere when Alex Gaskarth came out to perform “Up In Flames” alongside Kayzo for the first time. The fiery momentum and earth shattering back and forth hype between on stage and in the crowd was one for the ages, standing out as one Coachella moment that won’t soon be forgotten.
