From July 21 to 23, 2023, the city gates of PAROOKAVILLE will open for the seventh time and let an unprecedented 225,000 citizens flock to the City of Dreams for an unforgettable weekend. The planning for Germany’s largest electronic music festival is in full swing, inviting over 300 DJs from all genres of electronic music and spreading them across ten beautiful decorated stages. The second artist announcement has two spectacular headliner premieres in store for fans. With the debut of Kygo and Alok, this announcement is shaping up to be a fantastic one.
With his timeless hit “Firestone,” Norwegian Kygo shaped an entire genre. His multi-platinum hits “If Ain’t Me” (feat. Selena Gomez) and “Higher Love” combine astronomical streaming numbers and sold-out stadium shows on all continents, and countless headliner performances at the biggest festivals make him an absolute world star. During this summer, he can finally check off Germany’s biggest electronic music festival on his gig bucket list: PAROOKAVILLE. (Mainstage Headliner, Sunday)
Without a doubt, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are the best-known duo on the EDM scene. Their celebrated festival gigs are legendary, their songs regularly become festival anthems and unite several billion streams. For nearly a decade Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have been an integral part of the global dance scene. (Mainstage Headliner, Friday)
Brazilian DJ and producer Alok is one of the most successful artists in his country and a global “ambassador” of Brazilian bass music. The superstar and family man also likes to use his creativity and popularity for social issues. At the opening of the Global Climate Change Week 2022, he performed together with indigenous artists on the roof of the United Nations headquarters in New York City. Sadly due to Covid, his gig in 2020 had to be cancelled, and now Alok is finally traveling to the festival city for the first time. (Headliner, Bill’sFactory, Friday)
At Bill’s Factory on Friday, 1LIVE presents another day with the best house sound. Besides headliner Alok, the British hit guarantor Joel Corry is also present. The Israeli DJ duo Vini Vici has been in the business for over a decade and are two of the pioneers of psytrance. Trance icon Armin van Buuren raves about their style: “Few acts have such a well-defined, characteristic sound. Vini Vici were the first to perform as main acts in the psytrance genre at major EDM festivals.” Lucky for us that we can see them bring their now interchangeable style to the main stage of PAROOKAVILLE (Mainstage Headliner, Saturday).
Hardstyle fans won’t want to miss Dr. Peacock on Friday, D-Block & S-te-Fan on Saturday, and Rooler on Sunday. Kayzo and Slander fire bass music through the cloud factory on Friday and provide a hard techno thunderstorm on Saturday. Further artists of the second announcement week will be announced on the festival’s online channels this week.
Ticket demand for PAROOKAVILLE remains high. The so-called visas for PAROOKAVILLE from July 21 to 23, 2023 have been available since October. Regular day visas for Saturday, all VIP categories, caravan camping and individual tickets with accommodation are already sold-out.
Regular day visas for Friday and Sunday, the combination ticket for Friday and Saturday and full weekend visas with and without camping are also available. Information and ticket sales here.
