The one and only ZHU has proven his unique musical mastery to fans throughout all of 2020, releasing back to back bangers on a consistent note. Following exotic singles “Desire” with Bob Moses and “Risky Business,” the GRAMMY-nominee reveals his striking new single, “I Admit It” alongside 24KGoldn and we are totally here for it.
ZHU decided to link up with American rapper and songwriter 24kGoldn to create an extrinsic tune that would capture a wider audience of listeners across the globe. “I Admit It” features a more bass and trap heavy sound design than we’re used to from the mysterious producer, but his enticing vocals alongside 24kGoldn’s smooth verses effortlessly go hand in hand. The track just slaps from the moment you hit play, and we’ve had it on repeat since its official release.
But all the hype regarding “I Admit It” doesn’t stop there, as the tune’s accompanying music video directed by Joey Vitalari is also just as captivating. The video portrays both the track’s underlying sonic essence and ZHU’s forward-thinking artistic capabilities, all while exposing an alluring visual of his upcoming avant-garde fashion collection in the most bizarre, futuristic manner.
With no intention of slowing down his roll, ZHU will be premiering his “I Admit It” fashion show and an exclusive Blacklizt set on Luminosity Gaming‘s live Twitch stream on November 13th to continue the buildup for the single. We have to admit, ZHU just keeps taking us by surprise as his career as a true artistic visionary progresses, and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for us in the months to come. In the meantime, listen to “I Admit It” if you haven’t already, out now on all streaming platforms via Astralwerks.
