There’s nothing quite like New York City in the summertime, especially when an outdoor venue as extravagant as The Brooklyn Mirage is back in business in the heart of trendy East Williamsburg. The entirely open-air venue makes its highly anticipated return this weekend, and is set to put on some pretty spectacular productions throughout the rest of the season with its all-star packed lineup.
The first roofless electronic party in the city that never sleeps kicks off this Friday, May 10th with Ibiza superstar Black Coffee and supporting acts Black Motion and DJ Angelo. An entirely sold out show, it’s going to be the most excelling way to set the ground for what Brooklyn is about to embark on all summer long. The event’s curators are absolutely thrilled to bring the South African born music legend to NYC, in which attendees will get to experience what all the fuss regarding his signature afro-house inspired beats is all about. Attendees are in for an unforgettable night full of the Hï Ibiza resident’s soulful underground sounds, one in which high expectations are to be set for the rest of the season.
The opening weekend celebration continues on Saturday, May 11th with The Cityfox Experience Regenerate event, where exceptional artists like Recondite (live), Adriatique, Hot Since 82, Patrick Topping, Monolink (live), Anja Schneider and more will be performing for over 10 hours! With The Cityfox Experience concept being an NYC classic, its summer residency commencement at the one and only Brooklyn Mirage is the perfect way to get things rolling. It’s unique Regenerate theme is to take us all on a sensational techno and house heavy ride, with its back to back showcase of some of the dance music world’s most experimental talent. In addition to it’s phenomenal lineup, the event will also be featuring some eclectically stunning visuals designed by the artistically skilled Sila Sveta.
Following last year’s tremendous turnout, these upcoming 2019 Brooklyn Mirage installments are set to be bigger and greater than ever before. Last year’s successful productions of prominent curated event and party brands like Afterlife, Elrow, Paradise, SAGA, The Cityfox Experience, and a few others proved The Brooklyn Mirage to be the venue of choice for such abundant events here in the big apple. So far, this year’s lineup is its most stacked yet with remarkable names like Kaskade (Redux Set), Disclosure, Nora En Pure, Lane 8, Tchami and MALAA (No Redemption Set), Carl Cox, Virtual Self, Rüfüs du Sol, Alesso, and many more! With New York City being one of the most music-savvy in the world, we’re proud to call The Brooklyn Mirage it’s sacred summertime musical home.
A true beauty, The Brooklyn Mirage encompasses everything all electronic dance music aficionados love and cherish. From its incredible open-air vibes to its tropically soothing ambiance surrounded by soaring palm trees, the city’s nightlife jewel mirrors many of Ibiza’s prodigious clubs. It’s spectacular views of the unparalleled Manhattan skyline are hard to top, and it’s undoubtedly the only venue in which you can escape the the urban life and immerse yourself into a completely different world of your own. The best time of year is finally here, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it all this upcoming weekend for The Brooklyn Mirage’s grand summer opening!
