Stellz Returns to 1980 Recordings with New Single “Dust” Alongside Two Remixes
Stellz, a Russian producer who has earned support from the likes of Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Umek, and Roger Sanchez has returned to 1980 Recordings with a hot new single “Dust.”
“Dust” is a warm embodiment of carefully crafted house music. The padded chords and driving percussion widen out the production bringing out the dramatic arpeggios and echoing reverb that groove you right into the drop.
This new single is also supported by remixes from Eugene Becker and the label head himself, Dan McKie. McKie is a renowned DJ and producer behind an array of House and Techno music across the broad spectrum of 4×4 genres who did not shy away from adding his spin to this electrifying single from Stellz. He chose to take the Deep House road, adding in the shuffling percussion and the rising and falling of the melody which makes it so characteristic as a genre. With those aspects at play, he still managed to keep an overall sense of pace building up throughout the track. On the other hand, Eugene Becker takes away much of the heavy weight of Stellz’s original composition and production elements by thinning it out to a much more progressive house vibe. It is beautifully redone, feeling lighter and almost bouncy in nature.
Between the original composition and both remixes, “Dust” is the perfect track to please any lover of house music. Make sure to keep up with more new music from Stellz, Eugene Becker, and renowned label head / DJ, Dan McKie! Click here for the fanlink to “Dust.”
