SnowGlobe 2016 hits South Lake Tahoe, California for its sixth annual installment
It’s official: Festival season has been extended. For its sixth year running, SnowGlobe Music Festival returns to South Lake Tahoe, California. From December 29-31, SnowGlobe 2016 will deliver another anticipated edition. Located at the Bijou Park on the Lake Tahoe Community College campus, this year’s event promises a new festival site and and layout, which is twice the size of last year’s.
SnowGlobe attendees are encouraged to bask in the picturesque and breathtaking Sierra Nevada Mountains with an unprecedented lineup. This year’s 3-day event brings some of dance music’s biggest names for a New Year’s spectacular. Topping the bill for SnowGlobe 2016 (#SG16) are The Chainsmokers, Flume, Major Lazer, Odesza, and Rüfüs Du Sol.
Additional acts to take the stage at this year’s festival include: Big Gigantic, RL Grime, Mr. Carmack, Illenium, Snails, The Knocks, Party Favor, Lido, Justin Jay, and many more.
What’s to look forward to at SG16? Three full days consisting of more than 50 groundbreaking artists and performers, multiple festival stages, and a NYE fireworks show.
Fans are encouraged to explore the stunning Tahoe surroundings, embrace “Big Air” ski and snowboarding demos, and take advantage of the nearby skiing and snowboarding terrain and reduced priced Heavenly Mountain lift tickets, which are available exclusively to SnowGlobe-goers. With the festival grounds located just three miles from Stateline, NV, gamers can take advantage of the five 24-hour casinos that Tahoe has to offer.
