SIHK Drops ‘Epic Side Quest’ EP After 5-part Video Skit

SIHK has taken the internet by storm with his extensive talents since his start. Now, he is making a powerful return to Yellow Claw’s Barong Family with his Epic Side Quest EP. Unlike typical EPs, it is a four-part auditory experience that hits listeners with heavy bass and steely synths.

Just like his unusual approach to what is often considered an EP, he kick-started this campaign with a comedic companion piece, a 5-part video skit. It shows the chronicles of SIHK traveling through the world on his own silly epic side quest. These characteristic ideas are the same ones that fueled SIHK’s rise in the dance music universe.

Named after SIHK’s appreciation of Skyrim as well as an inside joke with the Barong Family, Epic Side Quest shoves listeners into the center of all the action. The first track, “Yoyo,” hits immediately with a wave of bass and hefty synths. A more industrial sound comes after with “Money,” a track that is actually a collaboration with RayRay, another Barong Family member. It helps to remind listeners that his quest will always be about “dat money.” In “Space Flamingo” we are taken to infinity and beyond with even more bass and fall back to Earth hard with a Middle Eastern inspiration in “Bounce to This.” By the end of the EP, it is safe to say that everyone will just keep bouncing.

Besides his production skills, SIHK continues to impress fans with ferocious live sets. He has performed across Asia with festival appearances at Siam Songkran and It’s The Ship. More festival announcements are coming soon – in the meantime listen to the EP to get a full dose of what SIHK is all about.
