Gripping bass producer PURGE is jumping into the weekend with a bone-chilling new music video for his collaboration single “Never Let This Go” featuring DEIV, officially out today via Play Me Records.

The raw soul and dark tones that infuse the “Never Let This Go” video make it hard to take your eyes off the screen, while PURGE’s aggressive sound and hauntingly addictive style strikethrough every ounce of the track with pure brilliance. Miami’s electro-pop pioneer DEIV sets the bar high in the song, lending his emotive voice to the piece and giving an even deeper dimension to the human condition this production revolves around.

“I’ve always set out to do more than just music. Music has always been the platform for me to have a voice and to bring awareness to social issues and especially mental health. This video and song are the first of many projects that I want to express awareness of mental health and other social issues that everyday people go through. The initial reaction we got from the video was that it was pretty hard to watch but that’s the reality of people’s lives. It’s something I went through when I was younger and it’s something I’m extremely passionate about spreading awareness about. Our goal is to reach at least one person and help at least one person struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts.”PURGE

One look at his name and a glance into the cryptic music video are tell tale signs of the sort of mystery behind PURGE and his journey into music. Originally breaking ground with a debut release “Feel Your Love” via Skrillex’s imprint NEST HQ, the red-hot attention was quick to follow by fellow artist like Adventure Club, DJ Snake, Marshmello, Slander, Krewella and many more. PURGE continues to position himself in a place of strong momentum as he proved wildly enticing live performances at EDC Orlando, EDC Las Vegas, and Okeechobee.
