The new number one DJ in the world, Martin Garrix, took to LIV Nightclub in Miami during the Art Basel

After all of the “Baseling,” we can take time to reflect on this weekend’s performances, which included a signature set from producer and DJ Martin Garrix. Friday night’s show at the Fontainebleau’s Club LIV sure was turned up in the spirit of Art Basel.

Just recently landing the number one spot on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list, 20 year-old superstar Martin Garrix took to LIV Miami to put on yet another show that fans won’t forget. Running until the late hours of the night, his performance hyped up an entire club full of crazy Miami partygoers. The extremely lavish setting of LIV made everyone present feel like an A-list star.

Not only did Garrix bring all the heat with his explosive remixes and beats, but he filled the club with the highest of energies and the best of vibes. Midway through his set there was even a flutter of confetti – made of $2 bills! Surrounded all night by smoke cannons, orange glow sticks, gorgeous dancers, and a rainstorm of confetti imprinted with “LIV” on it; Garrix absolutely slayed the night. No matter if they were there for the glamorous Miami club scene or because they are huge Martin Garrix fans, all of the party “Animals” in LIV on Friday night were seen moving all night long, full of energy.

Garrix was pulling at fans’ hearts with tracks like “Gold Skies,” “Reload,” and “Virus.” In the midst of these, he kicked up the tempo with “Lions in the Wild,” “Animals,” and the fan-favorite, “Tremor.” Packed to the brim, LIV was the perfect setting for people to rage the night away. Club-goers were ecstatic to hear tracks like Ookay’s “Thief,” The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down” feat. Daya, and Daft Punk’s “One More Time.” Sending the weekend off in style, Garrix put on an Art Basel show to remember.
