Darude Shares First of Three Releases for Eurovision Song Contest

Darude and Sebastian Rejman are proud to share “Release Me,” out now on Armada Music.  The first of three possible Eurovision Song Contest entries, the track packs an impactful punch right from the start. “Release Me” arrives beside an official music video ahead of yet another forthcoming single from Eurovision, due for a Friday, February 15 release.

Representing Finland at Eurovision Song Contest 2019, multi-platinum-selling, award-winning DJ/Producer Darude is launching three entries for the globally renowned song contest. With all three records released on the esteemed Armada Music, the biggest independent dance music label in the world, there’s no need to explain that this a prosperous partnership.

“Release Me” cohort Sebastian Rejman is locked in to perform the track beside Darude at Eurovision Song Contest 2019, adding:

Of course, we are all familiar with Darude’s legendary hit “Sandstorm,” which has clocked up 115 million streams to date on Spotify, over 140 million plays on YouTube, and will certainly not be halting anytime soon. The iconic release is still a crowd favorite in live sets and nightclubs across the world, further cementing Darude’s place in dance music history. Since first stepping onto the scene twenty years ago, Darude’s highly-acclaimed musical workings have been utilized by globally recognized events such as Euro 2000, Wimbledon, The Olympics, NFL, NBA, and the UFC. Beyond this, his tracks have made appearances in Hollywood movies, advertising videos for Nike and PlayStation, and video games like DJ Hero and Angry Birds. Entering seemingly every area of entertainment imaginable, his music continues to extend to new ground, most recently representing his home country in the 2019 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Caroline is an avid electronic music enthusiast. Born and raised in the Boston area, Caroline relocated Florida to complete her Bachelors Degree in Social Entrepreneurship & Business from Rollins College in Orlando.
