Takis has just given his fans a present for his Season 1: Welcome Home debut LP, giving them a bonus track with Andrew Rayel. The bonus single with Rayel, “Closer,” was premiered by the two at EDC Las Vegas, proving that both great artists can make the most unexpected collaborations work well.

The track is a chill and upbeat melodic tune, fusing various elements from trance, deep, and progressive house to create a beautiful body of work. Layered with Zagata’s smoky vocals, “Closer” is built with a plethora of groovy rhythms, upbeat percussion, and deep emotions. It is a track that sonically exhibits the collaborator’s musical talents, while also showcasing the two’s ability to take and blend from a variety of genres.

“‘Closer’ truly has the perfect balance of everything; the emotion in this record is so euphoric. I’m very excited to teamed up with the talented Takis. He’s an upcoming artist from Canada, and I highly recommend keeping an eye out on him!” – Andrew Rayel

“I’ve always wanted to get in the studio with Andrew, but I wasn’t sure what our collab would sound like. A few months ago, I linked with fellow Canadian singer-songwriter Zagata to start the early version of ‘Closer’. I then played that version for Andrew, and Andrew loved Zagata’s vocals, the story and the direction of the track right away. So we got on a call and sent it back and forth, ultimately creating something in the middle of both of our sounds: an honest and authentic collab. Creating this track with Andrew and Zagata was an incredible experience and I’m really proud of this one and the growth it showcases.” – Takis

“Closer” is a track that is bound to be on repeat for its fans and listeners. The track is an amazing piece of work that showcases both Andrew Rayel and Takis’ production capabilities, while also serving as the perfect addition to Takis’ Season 1: Welcome Home EP. Fans and listeners within the electronic music space are eager to hear more from both artists, while they are currently enjoying the amazing work they have both.
