Celebrating the release of their William Black collaboration, “Back To U, which has amassed over 5M streams, SLANDER has just put forth a slew of remixes to give the vocal-fueled single a refreshing perspective from various genres and styles. Released through Gud Vibrations, it features five renditions of the original from the likes of Matrix & Futurebound, Fairlane, Control Freak, Mazare, and Topi.

To start off the EP, listeners can indulge in an energetic club appropriate remix from Matrix & Futurebound that holds a fast Drum & Bass tempo. Following is Fairlane’s remix which is a pop-electronic infused approach from the original, giving it a brand new sense of life. Control Freak’s flip is a hectic rendition that builds into a destructive drop filled with punching synths and heavy basslines.

Acting as the light at the end of the tunnel, Mazare’s remix is an uplifting future bass tune that beautifully captures the vocals and the vibe into a cohesive whole. And last but not least, Topi’s remix is completely imaginative, adding a wonky funk into the progression, while still capturing the melodic essence of the vocals. All of the remix each attract new listeners to the original’s hooks and bring its own sense of life to an already life bringing single.

SLANDER’s vocal fueled single, “Back To U” has already amassed over 5M streams, making a remix EP the perfect extension towards its reach. With such hi-fidelity remixes added towards the song’s catalog, it’s presence and impact within the music scene is furthered. It’s a great way to showcase various perspectives of a sonic message while unifying listeners from various genres & regions into a collective.
