Today MAKJ and JYYE have joined forces on the major new collaboration “Promises” out now on Armada to end 2020 on a strong note. Keeping the idea of the New Year in mind, it will certainly get fans thinking about what promises they have for themselves in the coming year, in the most upbeat and groovy way possible.

“Promises” kicks off with an ethereal vocal over top a deep bassline, hooking us in right from the start. The echoing hi-hats and percussive shakes continue to rise and build tension into a deep four on the floor drop that will make you want to hit the dancefloor if you could. The swelling synth pads push the groove forward into the next section and hold our attention as we move through the rest of the hit track.

Both MAKJ and JYYE have had quite an eventful and successful 2020 despite the lack of performances as a result of the ongoing pandemic. With a handful of popular tracks in both of their discographies now, they will no doubt continue to build this powerful momentum right into the coming year. When major events and festivals can resume normally, you can bet on seeing both artists take center stage.
