Lucas & Steve Shake Things Up With “Say Something”

Out today via Spinnin’ Records, Lucas & Steve are shaking things up with their new single “Say Something” in tandem with a brand-new vibrant music video.

Lucas de Wert and Steven Jansen, better known in the dance music world as Lucas & Steve, have without a doubt carved a name for themselves as an uplifting and ever-energetic pairing both in live performances and behind the scenes producing music. Following their first record of 2019 with Madison Mars for “Lunar,” this year is shaping up to be quite a promising journey.

“Say Something” is a mild shift of tempo from many of their past soundscapes, this time around the duo are slowing things down to piece together what looks to be one of their most promising productions yet. Featuring a beautiful melody by lead female vocals, the heartfelt voice is laid over a warm, summertime instrumental that transports listeners from bleak wintery weather to paradisiacal scenes underneath the sun.  Lucas & Steve continue to shine on the single’s lead drop as danceable drums tie the production together to mark every box off in the radio hit checklist. “Say Something” showcases another evolutionary twist to the pair’s diverse sound, and is definitely an even more refined glimpse of what’s to come from Lucas & Steve.
