Upon returning from a brief creative hiatus in which he paused touring to focus solely on music, French DJ/Producer Kidswaste (Quentin Beauvois) is confident in his time spent innovating and searching for a new evolution of his sound. Kidswaste teamed up with female artist Sophie Simmons on his new single “Beautiful Life” out now via Counter Records.

This brand new single coincides with Kidswaste’s series of performances lined up at an epic array of festivals like Shaky Beats, Electric Zoo, Camp Bisco, and more. As the dance industry is ever-expanding with fresh talent and imaginative musical minds, Kidswaste has made a name for himself through his style of music which truly tugs at the heartstrings as well as his dreamlike production technique. As an artist, Kidswaste has spent his years discovering his knack and passion for flirting with numerous sounds that create a balance from indie, folk, electronic, and pop. This versatility has declared this French Maestro a force to be reckoned with as he is continuously moving and shaking the scene by dishing out nothing but his best and most outstanding work. His first single “Spleen” was released in February 2017, and he received a slam dunk of support from the likes of VICE/Creator’s Project, Billboard, This Song is Sick, Dancing Astronaut, Nest HQ, Earmilk and more. The 22 Million Spotify streams, 11 million SoundCloud streams, and YouTube streams that “Spleen” amassed demonstrates one key element for Kidswaste – the cultivation of a loyal and vast fanbase that will stick with him for ages.

From start to finish, “Beautiful Life” soars with an all around mystifying vibe. Simmons’ vocals sear through your heart as the track’s story shines through her serendipitous lyrics, which are all too relatable when it comes to romance – making for one purely emotive song. With soft and free-flowing synths paired with immediately infectious tones and rhythms, “Beautiful Life” reaches far past a song of the summer and scores as an anthem perfect for mega festivals or smaller club shows. The uplifting melody of “Beautiful Life” is what sends the tune into the sky with positivity and radiance. Kidswaste and Simmons couldn’t have been a better collaboration for this song, as their swift and smooth chemistry worked seamlessly to create an instantaneous instinct that the track would reach millions, and serve as a sliver of remembrance to look for the bright side amidst life’s string of hectic challenges.

“I wrote this track with Sophie back in March and we both instantly felt good about it. Whether you’re broke or lonely (whatever might be getting you down) – there’s always something positive to find in even the smallest moments when things might not be going your way. Beautiful Life is about finding those moments and cherishing them.” – Kidswaste

Sophie Simmons is the cherry on top of “Beautiful Life,” and this single is yet another finely tuned piece to add to her growing repertoire of hit tracks. Following her debut single “Black Mirror” which currently charts at #34 and rising on Billboard’s Dance Club Song Charts, Simmons is the fitting puzzle piece to a song full of passion, soul, and charm. With another collaboration under her belt, Simmons is only becoming more diverse in her music releases, as she proves time and time again to be the female lead to have on any powerful and lively production.
