Uplifting from the first notes, “Intoxicated” thrives upon its larger-than-life arrangement. Leading into a drop that feels nothing short of main stage vibes, the light and airy tones woven throughout this track make for a piece of pure joy. Finely tweaked with Chris’ intricate design, “Intoxicated” features only incredible instrumental progressions. Enlightened with flavorsome rhythms and high-energy around every corner, “Intoxicated” is one of those songs that keeps us all looking towards the first high of when live music returns.

“I sat down to write this track and I had the summer in mind.  I wanted to write something that I could see thousands jumping to and I was really excited about the upcoming festival season before COVID-19 hit.  It has been so sad for me to see people struggling right now and many events being converted into virtual shows. I am glad the events are still happening online and I hope that people will enjoy this record with a bit of nostalgia!” – Chris Varvaro

Chris recently signed with The 1220 Agency, and spearheads the #pursoundmovement, a genre composed of elements from ambient sounds and progressive house. A self-taught instrumentalist and music producer, Chris developed an interest in music when he was just a young child. Beginning with drumming, his fascination for rhythms transitioned from percussion to producing following his deeper passion for the electronic industry. Young Bombs, Two Friends, Owen Norton, Jenaux, and Gazzo are amongst the list of artists who have supported Chris. Stay tuned for more new music and announcements following “Intoxicated.”
