Anders and Andreas, the masterminds behind flourishing dance music duo BOILERS, have proved that not even a global pandemic can stop anyone from pursuing their dreams. The duo has done everything in their power to produce music together despite being on complete opposite ends of the country, and they’re ecstatic to finally see their vision come to life.
As proud members of Oliver Heldens’ new OH2 Records label, the Danish pair is proud to unveil their dreamy rework of the 1997 classic “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None The Richer. After a plethora of Zoom call meetings to keep the production momentum for the track going, the fresh, remastered version of the already iconic tune is finally here. The 2020 rendition of “Kiss Me” features a catchy, dance-driven melody that ignites a lively sense of nostalgia and we’re totally here for it.
The main focus of the OH2 Records launch is to release more melodic, dance-pop leaning tracks to music lovers worldwide, and there’s no surprise why Oliver Heldens recruited BOILERS to join him on this exciting new venture. Their version of “Kiss Me” via the innovative label fuses genres from completely opposite sides of the spectrum, a skill that surely deserves some recognition. Along with its moving lyrics and melodic-house tempo, the track also encompasses a captivating guitar synth all throughout, adding an additional romantic touch to its already emotive symphony.
The perfect track for all the daydreamers out there or for anyone who’s completely love-struck, “Kiss Me” is officially out now on all major streaming platforms. If you were already a fan of the original classic, we promise this BOILERS rendition of the lovely tune will easily become a new favorite. Merging the world of dance and pop music astoundingly, we can’t wait to see what else the Danish pair has in store for us in the months to come.
