Will Atkinson dished out a blast from the past as he released his remix of JES’ “Imagination,” and has without hesitation delivered masterpiece touches to the everlasting record.

American singer/ songwriter JES’ career took flight following the release of “Imagination,” as she swiftly hit #1 on Billboard’s Dance Airplay chart. From there it was further up and up with sweeping amounts of dazzling music. JES’ “Imagination” originally dropped unto the world over a decade ago and was brought to life 10x more as industry bosses like Tiesto and Kaskade revamped the track with their own marvelous twists, bringing them straight to the club.

The rework lands as the first single off of JES’ upcoming part-retro/part-’future-spective’ album, Memento. Atkinson came at this one wearing his heart on his sleeve, producing with an entirely fierce approach, faring far away from intimidation by the track’s rather accomplished history. He’s brought an entire vision and unforeseen scope to the tune, bettering the path that was paved by the original if anything.

JES has woven herself extensively throughout the music industry, lending her angelic vocals and starlit songwriting skills to the likes of Markus Schulz, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Cosmic Gate, and Kaskade – and that’s just the beginning. Recent efforts involving JES’ collaboration with Elevven on “Heartbeat Tonight” have even turned into a remix contest (which still has a few days remaining to enter!) for those of you who dare put your own spin on this delightful tune.

It’s clear that “Imagination” isn’t leaving the electronic spectrum anytime soon, rather its course is bound to run wild through any nightclub or festival that gets their hands on it. For all your streaming/downloading needs, the remix can be found here.
