Acclaimed electronic music artists, tyDi and Electric Polar Bears have just shared a 12 track remix pack for their popular single “You Never Know.” The original quickly surpassed over 300,000 streams and is an uplifting blend of both artists’ musical attributes. For this release, each remix sonically portrays the original through the perspective of various featured artists, taking the track in new directions.
Featuring artists like ETC!ETC!, SOMMERS UK, Criminal Sounds, and many more, the remix pack showcases the original pop dance tune into a variety of genres ranging from moombah to hardstyle. The pack is a great way to bring new life to “You Never Know” while also celebrating its quick adoption from fans and new listeners since its release one month ago.
“I’ve been a fan of both the Electric Polar Bears and NeverWaves for a while now, it only made sense to fire up the studio and jump on a fresh song with them!! NeverWaves vocals were the first thing I worked on. We jumped on a zoom session and wrote the story from scratch together; it was the first time we had met! This one is about all of those seemingly ‘random’ coincidental moments where we run into the right person. It’s a pleasant story that isn’t too ‘love focused’, it’s something everyone can jam out to. I can’t wait to drop this one at the festivals!!” – tyDi
The collaboration between electronic music icon, tyDi, and quickly emerging duo, Electric Polar Bears, was quickly adopted by fans and listeners, expanding both artists’ capabilities within the space. Electric Polar Bears have been quickly rising as a project, debuting the mainstage at Denver’s Global Dance Festival, playing direct support for Deorro at Mexico’s Water Castles Festival, and more. They are easily recognized by their LED polar bear helmets, while their music is a digestible blend of dance and pop. Electronic music icon, tyDi, has been a fan of the duo which blissfully ended up in a single collaboration. tyDi’s career includes an extensive discography, including five full-length albums, a variety of singles and remixes, and numerous EPs that showcases his artistic capabilities across a plethora of renowned labels. The collaboration between tdDi and EPB not only demonstrates the duo’s musical talents and capabilities but also emphasizes tyDi’s ability to produce in new realms while identifying emerging artists in the space.
