Skrillex & Boys Noize Surprise With Dog Blood Reunion

FriendShip 2024 surprised attendees by reuniting Dog Blood (Skrillex and Boys Noize) for an impromptu MainStage set, marking the superduo’s first official performance since 2019. It was surely a surprise for attending fans to see this incredible duo dust the cobwebs off their dormant collaborative alias.

The event took place on the Norwegian Joy and departed from Miami on January 6th before sailing through the Caribbean and disembarking on the 11th. The five-night music cruise festival, FriendShip, sailed from Miami to Belize for its latest edition, with an extended stopover on a private party island at Harvest Caye, where Skrillex played a headline set. This was followed by a back-to-back on the ship’s Main Stage the following night with Boys Noize.

It’s been more than a decade since the advent of Dog Blood, who debuted in 2012 by virtue of their fan-favorite EP, Next Order/Middle Finger. The duo’s last festival performance took place in Los Angeles on November 2nd, 2019 at HARD Day of the Dead and their most recent release arrived back in May of that year, when they dropped their ferocious Turn Off The Lights EP.

In the immediate wake of FriendShip, the festival’s organizer, Gary Richards, announced that its fifth edition will take place February 21-26, 2025. Fans can now pre-book their cabins here.
