Solomun +1 Returns to Pacha Ibiza for its 12th Season
Solomun+1 returns to Pacha Ibiza this summer for its 12th consecutive season – in what is already the 14th year of the residency, opening on May 31 and running through October 4.
Few parties on the island have earned their place quite like this one. Solomun+1 has grown into one of Ibiza’s most dependable Sunday night institutions – the kind of date that dedicated crowds return to summer after summer, and that first-timers plan their entire trip around.
Twelve seasons on, his approach has become a template. The quiet architect of the dancefloor didn’t declare himself one; he just kept building. This year’s lineup covers considerable ground. Skrillex, Jamie xx and Anyma are back for another chapter in the +1 story, while a special appearance from Idris Elba adds another unexpected moment to the season. Alongside them, the lineup spans both ends of the +1 story. For KETTAMA, DESIREE and Max Styler, this summer marks their Solomun +1 debut – new voices entering a room with its own history. Artists like Âme, Dixon, Denis Sulta, Chloé Caillet and DJ Gigola, on the other hand, are returning faces who have helped shape what these nights feel like over the years.
Solomun opens and closes the season himself, with five few all-night-long nights in between where he takes full control of the night. For many, these are the most coveted dates of the summer – the rare chance to spend hours with an artist at close range, in a room that he has spent years shaping into exactly that kind of space.
Part of what gives the residency its weight is the twelve seasons it has spent building its own identity within one of the world’s most iconic venues. Since 2013, Solomun+1 has grown into a fixture of its own at Pacha Ibiza, contributing to the institution around it while carving out a distinct character on its own terms.
Beyond Ibiza, two sold-out nights at Alexandra Palace set the tone in February – two big nights, long anticipated, and a well-earned break afterwards. Now the focus is where it belongs: the White Isle, every Sunday, for the next five months.
