Agenda-setting dance label Perfect Havoc is back for a second much-anticipated take-over of Ministry of Sound’s legendary room 103 on Friday 14th June. This return comes a little over six months after the label’s roadblock debut showcase in November and marks the release party of red hot new single ‘Gotta Say’ by Ryan Spicer & Spooner Street, which lands on the same day. Joining those two are Perfect Havoc label associates Stephani B, Alfie Cridland, Hix, Jack Kelly, Adam Griffin and Tim Hughes. As always on Friday nights, Future – Ministry’s in-house brand – takes care of The Box in collaboration with TEK and will welcome Sidepiece and special guest Öwnboss, plus billings over all four rooms. This is another unmissable chance for house lovers to immerse themselves in the full and complete Perfect Havoc sound with all its key players adding to the occasion.

The well-regarded Perfect Havoc label, co-founded by Robert Davies and Adam Griffin in 2015, is a proven musical tastemaker. As well as dropping a steady stream of standout sounds, it has hosted pop-ups all over London as well as far afield in San Francisco, Stockholm, Bergen and Paris, co-residencies with WNDRLND in Ibiza at Eden and much more.

The influence of the label is proven by it having had no fewer than six UK Top 20 singles and 10 billion global streams, all of which was recognised with shortlist placements for Best Independent Record Label at the Music Week Awards, for two consecutive years. The high-quality output is a mix of accessible and crossover dance sounds and club-ready grooves that bring plenty of character and soul to any party. Many of the artists who have helped define that signature sound now line up at Ministry of Sound.

Celebrating their release of “Gotta Say”, dream team Ryan Spicer and Spooner Street line up. Spicer is a mainstay of the UK underground, holding down a residency for Together at Ministry of Sound and Printworks, performing in Ibiza, and elsewhere across the capital at Egg and Electric Brixton. He can do it all too from deep house to main room sounds, always with a signature sense of style. Spooner Street meanwhile is UK pair Rob and Cliff and they have been laying down their groovy flavours since 2009. They draw on many styles but lean toward irresistible tech house and prog as this superb new single shows.

Next up, Alfie Cridland is a core label artist; a selector and producer of all things electronic, spinning sets of commercial house, R&B and high tempo rave house. Formerly touring with Nathan Dawe, Cridland’s journey into production has produced a string of quality singles including “New Levels” with Tobtok- spun 49 times on BBC Radio 1, and the fast-paced bass-driven “Fall Again” with T. Matthias.

Perfect Havoc label head Adam Griffin also stars. His expert ear for a hit has helped make the label what it is today as well as having launched the career of Joel Corry. His A&R is an extension of his great taste as a DJ and that will be on full view when he steps up to the booth on the night. Expect plenty of his own classy cuts, which have earned him BBC Radio 1 support and more than 25 million streams, and plenty more besides.

The captivating Stephani B is one of the most exciting talents on Perfect Havoc today. To Ministry she brings her hybrid style of live drumming and sampling whilst DJing. Stephani’s mashups have become a viral sensation as a result, while her foray into production has been turning even more heads on releases including “From Paris To Berlin” and “Sober (La Da Dee)”, both of which have seen support across BBC Radio 1. Catch Stephani in London before she heads off on the festival circuit, touching down at Victorious in Portsmouth and Tomorrowland in Belgium.

Tim Hughes is the other Perfect Havoc A&R who’ll be on hand this night, always with an ear close to the ground so expect only the most original and innovative sounds from him. Also lining up is one to watch, young Northern Irish star Jack Kelly, with a forward-thinking sound and masterful approach to deep house that has picked up millions of streams, signings to Selected and Spinnin and official remixes for Jax Jones and Charli XCX.

Then comes more Irish talent Hix, a Belfast artist who recently debuted on Perfect Havoc with his single ‘One Day At A Time’. He has a high-energy sound and hosts his own show on Northern Ireland’s biggest station, Cool FM, as well as regularly getting plays from KISS, BBC Radio 1 and more. Last but not least, the Perfect Havoc AllStars is a mix of A-team selectors from the label who will see the party out in style.

After the hype of the first takeover in late 2023, the second Perfect Havoc showcase at Ministry of Sound will be another celebration of some of the freshest sounds and DJs in the scene right now. Tickets start from as little as £8 + bf and are available from www.ministryofsound.com.
