There are many reasons you’ll want to get to know DOMENICO — and The Nocturnal Times is going to break it down for you. From his solo artist project, songwriting, a non-profit, a new supergroup called Prince Street Bodega, and more, DOMENICO is a multi-instrumentalist and a true artist. And not just that, he’s also in the business of giving back.

Based out of New York, multi-faceted, Billboard-charting artist and multi-instrumentalist, DOMENICO, is a rising force within the music scene – and it’s only just the beginning. As a talented vocalist, songwriter, musician, and artist, DOMENICO has continuously breaks barriers with his work, which now includes the launching of his latest project. Prince Street Bodega is a four-member group, consisting of DOMENICO, Black Caviar, and Rion S, Prince Street Bodega, has just made their debut on October 28 with “Contagious,” which you can stream below.

In addition to his creative side as a musician, DOMENICO founded the non-profit, Real World Academy, which serves as a mentorship vessel to encourage young people to follow their dreams. In 2017, he was nominated as one of the youngest speakers ever to give a TEDx Talk on the subject. Since inception, Real World Academy has mentored hundreds of students across the United States in designing their future.

“My ultimate goal as an artist is to provide the scaffolding for the next generation of creatives to feel confident pursuing a career that aligns with their passions. That was the idea in starting Real World Academy.” – DOMENICO

Since exploding onto the scene with multiple Billboard-charting collaborations, DOMENICO has produced and performed on records for legendary artists such as John Legend, My Chemical Romance, Bingo Players, and Tiësto. DOMENICO’s reputation for combining guitar-based songwriting with futuristic production has landed him millions of online listeners with routine support from Spotify, SiriusXM, and MTV. He even has his very own record label, IL DOTTORE, which serves as a platform to showcase his own art and collaborations with friends.

“I think that most music fans, including myself, are desperate for positive vibrations in the midst of so much negativity in today’s zeitgeist. I think the boys from PSB helped bring that out in me as an artist and I hope this album does the same for everyone.” – DOMENICO

Prince Street Bodega (PSB), the new supergroup to keep an eye (and ear) on, brings DOMENICO joining forces with Black Caviar and Rion S to serve up a unique listening experience that intertwines funk, disco, soul, and hip-hop. The band’s origin was a happy accident, born out of the 2020 lockdowns when NYC-based producers Black Caviar became neighbors with DOMENICO. They immediately clicked and introduced DOMENICO to Irish multi-platinum singer/songwriter Rion S over Zoom in hopes of collaborating.

Happening within the span of just a few short months, the four-piece group ferociously produced an entire album’s worth of material. In paying homage to the New York City neighborhood that inspired much of the music, Prince Street Bodega was born. Now, the group has just released their debut original single, “Contagious,” with a debut album of the same name slated for release later this year in partnership with premier distribution and music services platform, Vydia.
