Undoubtedly one of the grooviest songs of the year, “I Don’t Wanna Know” by Silience has shot far into the musical stratosphere. Now, the elegant tune receives three revamped versions by Toolroom Records label head Mark Knight.
Mark Knight’s long standing career has woven itself through the electronic music industry for more than two decades. With a remarkable 120 million + global streams under his repertoire, his talents have extended to fellow artists like Faithless, Underworld, and Florence & The Machine (just to name three). Additionally, his label Toolroom Records holds some of the dance scene’s most treasured artists and songs.
Maintaining the song’s original essence of smooth vocals, sexy rhythms, and flavorsome vibe, Mark Knight has fired up three glowing remixes of “I Don’t Wanna Know.” The pack includes a Mark Knight Remix, an Extended Remix, and a Dub Remix. The first remix sets the mood for an essential funk that lasts throughout these three version’s durations. Next, clocking in at a lovely six-and-a-half minutes, The Extended Remix tacks on even more rejuvenating beats, percussion layers, and buzzing instrumentals. Closing out the remix pack is the Dub Remix which takes the original track to a sun-kissed disco haven.
French DJ/Production duo Silience have been gracing the airwaves with their beautiful blend of deep and melodic house through a string of radiant releases. Working with world-renowned labels like Spinnin’ Records and Armada Music, their discography features a darling array of feel-good electronic tuneage. “I Don’t Wanna Know” has just passed 6 million streams on Spotify alone, and lives at a gorgeous #10 spot on Shazam in Australia. Making its way across the globe in proper dance music fashion, entities like Kiss, Kiss Dance, Capital Dance, and Radio 1 all continue to support the crowd-pleasing track.
