Listen to SoDown’s Newest Single “Cake”

Ehren River Wright, AKA SoDown has arrived with his newest musical offering. This time around it’s taking shape as “Cake” and it’s an offering we can all use a slice of.

SoDown has become a recognizable name and sound in the electronic sphere for illuminating the scene’s vibrancy as a saxophone playing producer. “Cake” is quite the intriguing new piece from SoDown. Combining elements of menacing bass and a sharp vocal addition, the track was actually made to question the force-fed capitalistic narrative of greed.

“I wanted to make a track that reflects the state of capitalism and its shortcomings. In what seems like an endless pursuit of paper, it’s easy to lose sight of what really matters, those we love, the experiences we share, and the growth within ourselves.” — SoDown

“Cake” is yet another ideal example of the kind of unique craft that SoDown continues to own and accelerate at. Each and every time he releases something new, he ups the ante of his own sonic discovery and thus extends his talents far into the realm of not only dance music but other genres as well.

Like many artists right now, SoDown’s picking back up fast on the touring front. Sweeping through cities including Boulder, Salt Lake City, Austin, and more, be sure to score tickets to one of his showdowns if you’re in the area. Tickets are available here.
