Immersed Explore Their Darkest Sound Yet on “In Rotation”

Immersed, the collaborative project from Brazilian producers Öwnboss and Scorsi, return with their new single “In Rotation,” the latest release from the duo’s upcoming EP following recent singles “Now You See Me,” “Tantra,” and “The Last Time.”

Immersed emerged organically from the creative partnership between the two producers, who first collaborated under the Öwnboss & Scorsi name on their remix of Nari & Milani’s “Atom.” The remix quickly gained traction within the electronic community and entered the sets of artists including Steve Angello, where it remained a fixture for years. What began as a single collaboration soon revealed a deeper creative alignment, leading the pair to develop Immersed as a dedicated project built around groove, atmosphere, and a distinct sonic identity.

“We were inspired by the idea of repetition, not as something static, but as something transformative. The same feeling, the same thought, the same motion, repeating over and over while gradually becoming more intense. That’s where the title came from. We wanted the track to keep evolving while staying locked into its groove, creating that balance between tension and release, emotion and impact.” – Öwnboss and Scorsi. “

Recently profiled by Beatportal as a project where “emotion and impact, melody and weight, euphoria and aggression all coexist inside the same records,” Immersed continues to explore those contrasts on “In Rotation.” The track opens with expansive atmospheric textures and steadily building percussion before unfolding into a powerful low-end driven groove. Built around movement and repetition, the arrangement continually cycles between spacious breakdowns and driving club energy, creating a hypnotic sense of momentum that carries throughout the record. Subtle horn accents weave through the production as layers of percussion evolve, resulting in one of the duo’s most dancefloor-focused releases to date.
