Galantis & The Devil’s Tax Return Team up for “Stay Alive”

2026 is lining up to be a very exciting year for Galantis, the dance music project from Christian Karlsson. “Stay Alive”. Cementing a new label relationship for Galantis with Ninja Tune imprint Counter Records and introduces a new chapter with Galantis & The Devil’s Tax Return.

“Stay Alive” a contemplative song that borders between melancholic and hopeful – makes a sweeping statement for a new direction for Karlsson. As the lyrics have the listener daydreaming about another type of life, it’s the music that conveys a sense of hopefulness. Here we find Galantis at his most personal, an intricate and emotional piece of production that takes something familiar and transforms it into something entirely his own.

The song is paired with a music video that shows Karlsson and his everpresent companion Piiper after-hours in a parking lot. It perfectly encapsulates the song’s homage to youthful ennui, turning a late-night shoot with an exhausted crew into something ineffably magical.

Alongside the new music, Galantis prepares to make his mark with Midsommar, an event symbolizing friendship, new beginnings and life in full bloom in San Francisco and Chicago this summer.
