John O’Callaghan, Sue McLaren & Paul Skelton Team up for “Signs”
John O’Callaghan knows how to create an ASOT moment, and this is the track he used to do exactly that in 2026. He also recognises a winning team when he’s assembled one, and three cycles after John, Paul & Sue fuelled 2023’s summer up with “Power Of Now”, the trio are back – right on seasonal cue – with the every-bit-as floor-formidable “Signs”!
John and fellow Irelander Paul (Skelton, of Subculture, FSOE, Regenerate, and the pair’s ‘May The Road Rise’ renown) are about as ‘studio attuned’ as is conceivable to imagine. Fittingly, they deliver ‘Signs’ an absolute unit of a production, packed to its thermodynamic nines with charged synths, cascading harmonies and a mainline that’s already done a number on the walls, roofs, floors and foundations of Rotterdam’s Ahoy.
Sue adds in to all that rapture with a sweetly sung song, the lyrics of which ponder the power of invisible forces. Ones that draw two lives together through something instinctual, almost certainly inexorable, and quite possibly celestial. If you’re seeing signs out on the clubfloor, now you know why! In elevated fashion, the irresistible force of John, Paul & Sue reteam for “Signs”.
