Eric Prydz HOLO to Deliver 3-Night Run in Brooklyn

After five installations of EPIC, everyone wanted to know what Swedish DJ and producer, Eric Prydz was going to do next –  and left wondering: How would he possibly be able to top it? In 2018, Prydz debuted his 3D-hologram visual concept, EPIC 6.0, in London. Holosphere aka HOLO really got ravers raving; and in 2019, Prydz came to the Big Apple with three sold out shows. Generating the most hype and buzzworthy Prydz shows of all time, seemingly every day, fans asked: When is this show coming back to New York?

Four years later, Eric Prdyz is making his comeback to NYC, where he will present HOLO along with Cristoph as support for the Thanksgiving (“Prydzgiving”) Weekend spectacle. The 3-day sold-out event series will take place on November 22, 23 & 25 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard – and it’s bound to be special.

The HOLO concept ambitiously changed the future of concert tech. From his striking and over-the-top laser show coupled with flashing strobe lights during “Everyday” – while fans are jumping up and down and singing along to every word – the HOLO world is a truly immersive experience. From the electric blue mystic water falls while he plays “Opus,” to “Allein,” in sync with red beam lights and a hand coming straight towards you. There are no 3D glasses needed to witness this production – he truly puts on a show that you won’t ever forget.

Prydz has performed HOLO over the past few years at select music festivals in the States, including: Ultra, the two-weekend run at Coachalla, and ARC (just to name a few). No three Prydz shows are ever the same. So, the real question on everyone’s mind is: What surprises does he have in store for us? We can’t wait to find out.

Based in NYC, I enjoy the fast paced world of music and all things EDM. I hope to illustrate my passion of the community through my writing. Electronic music is more than just music to me, it’s become a part of my daily life and I’m excited to share my experiences through another set of lenses, for everyone to escape their reality for a brief moment of time!
