A new collaboration has entered the electronic realm, “1800ifuckedup,” and it comes from Australian emo-electronic artist Rich Delinquent, and noteworthy artist Bobby Raps. As of Friday, October 14, “i800ifuckedup” from Rich Delinquent ft. Bobby Raps, is available worldwide.

Bobby Raps, who has written for Post Malone, The Weeknd, and Gunna, among others, collaborates for the first time with the multi-faceted Rich Delinquent on their latest single “1800ifuckedup.”

As soon as you begin “1800ifuckedup,” you’re immediately whisked into the storyline consisting of cyberpunk-esque motifs around a stimulating hip hop beat and an unfogettable, spiraling-chorded chorus. Together, the two make a dynamic team, crafting compelling lyrics that are, as Rich explains, “about being lost in a city of vices and trying to reach out to the one person who can pull you out of the darkness.”

Rich Delinquent’s fusion of electronic, hip-hop, and emo sounds have made him a distinct and fresh artist within the scene. In 2019, Rich Delinquent broke out onto the music scene, utilizing imagery from pop culture villains as a creative manifestation of his mental health in his music. He released original music, “Death Drive” , “Forget About Me”, and “Cocaine Late Nights”. His debut album Sadboi. As an extremely relatable artist, Rich Delinquent is unafraid to discuss the harsher realities of depression and anxiety — and it’s clear he certainly channeled his feelings around life and love into ‘Sadboi’. Through his debut album and his singles alike, Rich Delinquent is a creative who fearlessly examines the complexities of relationships, addiction, and the pursuit of passion.
