Published

on

During Labor Day Weekend, in keeping with tradition, Electric Zoo Hyperspace will bring some of the world’s biggest names in EDM with a huge focus in house, techno, bass, and dubstep. Randall’s Island will host over 150 unique artists, across 6 stages, for three consecutive days that are sure to invoke an unforgettable weekend chock-full of eclectic beats, dancing, sun, and those NYC summer vibes. Although each and every artist on this year’s lineup is remarkable in their own way, we’ve curated a list of the most sought after and dynamic acts you won’t want to miss at the 2023 festival.

Kx5

Making their collaborative NYC debut, Kaskade and deadmau5 are two of the legendary DJ/producers that have graced the grandest international stages for well over a decade. Renowned in their own respective successes, the Kx5 project joins these dance forces together with a newly released album and signature sounds prepped to close out the EZoo main stage Friday night. On top of all this excitement, a very special Kaskade sunset set will be played at the Dreamland stage prior to the Kx5 headline act. Both sets will be highly anticipated by fans of all ages

Chris Lake & FISHER present UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Making their worldwide festival debut as UNDER CONSTRUCTION, Chris Lake and FISHER join forces for another anticipated back-to-back DJ set. While the pair have been DJing together for over a year, their EZoo Hyperspace performance marks the debut of their official UNDER CONSTRUCTION moniker. This is a stage takeover that you won’t want to miss. Don’t believe us? Just watch Chris Lake & FISHER go b2b at this year’s Coachella — when the crowd went absolutely bonkers for the pair — which is one of the most talked-about ensembles from this year’s Indio event. These guys are sure to leave their footprint on Randall’s Island with UNDER CONSTRUCTION.

John Summit & Dom Dolla present EVERYTHING ALWAYS

John Summit has been climbing the ranks within the dance music scene over the past few years, and he makes his return to Electric Zoo this year. This time he’s joined by the one-and-only Dom Dolla for a rare, special debut back-to-back showcase. As part of the all new stages to grace Randall’s Island during EZoo Hyperspace, you won’t want to miss the world premiere of John Summit & Dom Dolla present EVERYTHING ALWAYS. From his latest hits “Where You Are” with Hayla, “Fade Out” feat. MKLA, and a new official anniversary remix of deadmau5 & Kaskade’s “I Remember,” John Summit is the king of the club circuit since his explosive “Deep End” release on Defected. Australian DJ & producer Dom Dolla has also been riding high and making major moves within the scene, especially with his recent explosive hits “Rhyme Dust” with MK, and “Eat Your Man” with Nelly Furtado, which he recently performed along with the pop-star during his Lollapalooza set.

Mau P

Coming in hot to EZoo Hyperspace with some massive house hits, Mau P’s stock has been on the rise as of late, thanks to “Drugs From Amsterdam” and “Your Mind Is Dirty” to name a few. Most people don’t know that the man behind the new alias, Maurice West has been making top notch music since before the EDM boom. Be sure to check his funky fresh sound out at the brand new MegaMirage stage on Friday evening.

Alison Wonderland

True artistry will be showcased at the EZoo Hyperspace main stage on Saturday night by the one and only Alison Wonderland. The immensely talented DJ/Producer has had a huge year already. Between music, new clothing launches, headlining festivals and last but certainly not least – getting engaged and giving birth to her son at the start of summer. Bass will be in full effect and you won’t want to miss it.

GRiZ

Setting the weekend’s tone complete with multiple opportunities to catch a set, GRiZ will be performing all three days at EZoo Hyperspace. The brass playing musician will be bringing his saxophone and gracing the Continuum stage, Landing stage at sunset each solo, and a closing b2b with Zeds Dead also at the Continuum stage. For those who have not been witness to a future-funk experience, GRiZ will be sharing the ultimate festival vibe.

Elderbrook

The live act of Elderbrook combines a plethora of his skills all wrapped up into a deep yet high octane show. Live vocals and percussion mixed with emotional electronic dance music makes for a unique add to the EZoo Hyperspace bill. Whether you’ve never seen him before, or were lucky enough to catch him at Avant Gardner earlier this year, everyone should be expecting an epic set from Elderbrook at the Morphosis on Sunday night.

Nora En Pure

Purified records label boss and one of this year’s EZoo Hyperspace stage curators, Nora En Pure will be hosting her own PURIFIED ensemble all throughout Sunday. Soundtracking the Morphosis stage with not one but two sets, Nora En Pure will play a special solo sunset set and later close out the night with a stellar b2b alongside DJ/Producer Franky Wah. It’s only natural for Nora and her Purified label be an integral piece of the festival.

Leading up to the biggest Electric Zoo yet, make sure to download the festival app, plan out your schedule and be sure to add in some of the premier talent you may or may not have heard of. Explore the grounds, stages, installations and check out the immense and diverse food options NYC has to offer. We look forward to catching you on the dance floor this weekend!
