Budding musician bad tuner is turning heads in the EDM scene with his new single “Back to Me” – a collaboration with British vocalist Marbl. The soulful track’s rolling drum breaks and smooth pitched down vocals make for a listening experience that oozes with movement.
The track is accompanied by a music video that reflects bad tuner’s DIY approach to the audio-visual experience. Simple but impactful, the home video-esque visual allows listeners a chance to further explore bad tuner’s aesthetic world.
“‘Back To Me’ is a true pandemic internet collaboration. After being linked with UK vocalist Marbl through Adam of Keys N Krates, we immediately started sending vocals and instrumentals back and forth. For the visuals she recorded a video of herself singing, and I then projected it on the wall behind me and played the keys and danced along. It put us in the same space if just for a moment!” – bad tuner
“Back to Me” is an exciting sampling of bad tuner’s distinctive musical style, something that fans can expect more of in the future. The track is out now LG105, the new electronic division of Virgin Records UK.
