Industry heavyweights and renowned house music duo Walker & Royce have continuously changed the scene over the years with their unique style of production and top-tier sets across the world’s biggest stages. Their latest single came out today and it brings an evolved-sound whilst also staying true to their unparalleled style. Along with Dances with White Girls, the fiery new track is captivating, catchy, and 100% dance-inducing. After a seven-year hiatus from releases on the label, Walker & Royce mark their grand return with the release of “Rewind It” and it absolutely does not disappoint.

The release of “Rewind It”  has been long-awaited by fans after initially hearing its debut at Dirtybird Campout. The song begins with distorted vocals and fx-weirdness that could only be perfected by Dances and the ever-so-talented duo. A contagious bassline and seductive vocals by Dances take hold throughout the track layered with Walker & Royce’s signature warped synths on top. Trumpets and horns add a groovy breakdown leading into a hard-hitting and infectious drop. Together, the features bring together an ultimate tech-house tune sure to heat up any dancefloor it hits.

“We are so excited to release “Rewind It’” with Dances. We’ve always said our weirdness matches his weirdness and the result is always great,” with Dances With White Girls adding, “’Rewind It‘ is old school hip-house vibes for the rave underground returned from the darkness.” – Walker & Royce

Walker & Royce have been known to break the boundaries of any genre with their incomparable sound highlighted in their monthly mix series, “Rules Don’t Apply.” The two aim to change the industry by crossing genre borders and essentially pushing artists to play whichever tunes they like. Hosting guest DJs on their show each month, the duo has helped propel other artists forward in the industry and continuously change fans’ perspectives of dance music. Dances with White Girls’ relationship with the producers has been deeply rooted- with two of Walker & Royce’s top-ranked singles “Skinny Dipping” and “Take Me to Your Leader” featuring the LA-based artist’s vocals. Today, the three have taken over the music industry scene with placements on top labels including Dirtybird, Crosstown Rebels, and Diplo’s Higher Ground. They are continuously seen on the billing of the world’s top festivals such as Coachella, Outside Lands, EDC, and the majority of California’s major dance events. With much success already under their belt, Walker & Royce continue to pave the way for fresh perspectives and sounds in the industry to shift and ultimately take over a new era of dance music.
